Caroline Labiner has an architectural and historical architecture practice in Los Angeles, occassionally consulting on projects in New England and New York. She focuses on historical consulting and histsorically oriented new design with a specialized interest in historical color and historically baseed color palettes for new construction or restorations.
Caroline also has a background in lettering design, letterpress and theatrical design. She has been using photogrpahy to gather and document and collect imagaes for her own use and to display for over thirty years.
Caroline received her AB from Harvard studying architectural history and her Masters of Architecture from MIT and has practiced in both New York and California. She is on the Board of the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions, the Park Mile Design Review Board, Windsor Square and Harvard Heights Historical Preservation Overlay Zones, and on the Land Use Committees of the Greater Wilshire and Bel-Air Beverly Crest Neighorhood Councils. She is on teh Board of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles and is ending her sixth year on the Board of the Ebell of Los Angeles this July.
Member of The American Institute of Architects, Preservation Trade Network, National Alliance of Preservation Commissions, California Preservation Foundation, Preservation Leadership Forum of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Society of Architectural Historians.
Caroline also uses her married name Caroline Moser or Caroline Labiner Moser for her community service and some pro bono work as an architectural consultant or on historic architectural projects.
